Long Belted Single Breasted Coat

Some coats ask for an outfit built around them. This one does the opposite. This women's long belted single-breasted coat goes over anything, from a work-day blazer to a Sunday knit, and finishes it with a clean, tailored line. A notch lapel opens into a V at the chest, two large black buttons close the front, and the belt pulls in the waist before the skirt flares gently down to mid-calf.

It is made from 64% polyester, 34% viscose and 2% Lycra, a soft wool-look fabric with a little stretch so it moves with you instead of against you. The fit is true to size, with structured shoulders, seams running down the chest to shape the body and two slanted hip pockets for your hands. The matching self-fabric belt ties at the waist.

Like every Ventiuno Paris piece, it is made in a small run in one atelier, where each pattern is corrected on the body before the final cut. When a colour sells out, it is usually gone.
