Some mornings the wind is out before you are. This women's cropped funnel-neck pea coat keeps it off your neck without the weight of a long coat: a tall funnel collar that buttons shut, six dark buttons down the front in three pairs, and epaulettes on the shoulders for a quiet military edge.
The fabric is a brushed blend of 20% viscose and 80% polyester with a matte, felt-like finish. Raglan sleeves and a roomy oversized cut leave space for a knit underneath, while wide turn-back cuffs with button tabs keep the sleeves neat. The hem stops at the hip and is gathered with elastic across the back, so this short double-breasted jacket holds its shape instead of flaring out. Two side pockets keep your hands warm.
Like every Ventiuno Paris piece, it's made in a small run in one atelier, so when a colour sells out, it's usually gone.
