Cropped Faux Leather Bomber

Some jackets do the work of a whole outfit. This women's cropped faux leather bomber jacket is one of them: a tall stand collar with a silver buckle strap, a covered front placket and two big flap pockets that snap shut. Pull it on over a tee and jeans, and it looks like you tried harder than you did.

The shell is synthetic leather with a smooth, soft finish and clean topstitching. Dropped shoulders and leather epaulettes give it a roomy, structured line, while the elastic hem pulls it in at the waist and stitched cuff bands finish the sleeves. The buckle strap cinches the collar around your neck, and the snap flaps keep your pockets closed. It's cut short, so it sits at the waist and shows off high-waisted trousers.

Like every Ventiuno Paris piece, it's made in a small run in one atelier, where each pattern is corrected on the body before it's cut. When a run sells out, it's usually gone.
